Brandon Teel Joins GEI in St. Louis

St. Louis, MO – GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources and ecological science and engineering firms, is pleased to announce Brandon Teel, PE, RG., recently joined the firm as a Senior Project Manager.

Brandon possess over 15 years of experience and specializes in environmental and geotechnical engineering, geology, business development, project management, compliance and consulting. Most recently he served as a national compliance manager and consulting group manager in the St. Louis area.  He has managed numerous energy-related projects that have included research, developing reserve estimates, litigation support, developing investigations, sampling plans and monitoring plans, as well as performing and overseeing field staff and activities, budgeting and invoicing, managing subcontractors, and implementing remedies, including ISS and jet grouting.

Brandon’s CCR experience includes assessment of energy center layouts and ash handling, surface water sampling, CCR cover system design and construction, and development of dewatering bid packages.  In addition, he has been involved with risk-based voluntary state programs as well as UST closures, due diligence, and compliance.

Brandon’s geotechnical project experience includes managing a geotechnical laboratory, pier inspections, geotechnical sampling determinations, soil and concrete testing, drilling and sampling, as well as review of earth retention system designs.

Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri and Illinois, and a Registered Geologist in Missouri.
