GEI has developed the patented H2A hydrocarbon and water knockout (H2AWK™) precision flow meter to test LNAPL transmissivity in the field.
The H2AWK™ provides a fast and effective way to measure LNAPL transmissivity (Tn) and delivers real-time results. How it works: The H2AWK™ gauges the volumetric ratios of LNAPL/water that are purged from a well during an oil/water ratio test in accordance with ASTM E2856-13. LNAPL Tn is estimated using standard equations that consider the drawdown, aquifer properties, and LNAPL physical properties (ASTM 2013).
