Madison, WI (Jan. 25, 2024) – Jennifer Shelton, P.E., has joined GEI Consultants as Senior Consultant. With almost 30 years of experience, Jennifer understands the challenges involved with solving complicated environmental issues around soil, groundwater, land use, and stormwater discharge.

“Jennifer is an established and respected client and technical manager and will supplement and continue the growth of our environmental practice,” says Dale Lane, P.E., Vice President. “She immediately brings leadership and expertise to our current and growing clients in the oil and gas, utility, and industrial services areas.”

Jennifer’s primary focus is providing environmental remediation and compliance services to the oil and gas sector. She has extensive experience with Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan and Facility Response Plan preparation, stormwater permitting, and other environmental permitting programs. In addition, Jennifer has managed numerous remediation projects through the conceptual design, permitting, installation, operation and maintenance, and project closure phases.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Marquette University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in 14 states, as well as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
