Marwan Salameh Joins GEI’s Oil & Gas Team in the South Region

We are pleased to announce that Marwan Salameh, PhD, P.E., has joined GEI as a Senior Consultant out of the Fort Worth, TX office. Marwan will be a member of GEI’s Oil & Gas team and is tasked with supporting work for GEI’s clients, executing on GEI’s Oil & Gas growth vision, and for supporting office growth initiative.

Marwan is a seller doer with more than 25 years of experience in environmental engineering and consulting, and specializes in supporting Oil & Gas, manufacturing, and local and Federal government clients in assessing environmental liabilities associated with active and inactive facilities. He is also experienced with advocating client position using process and regulatory knowledge.

Marwan has led teams responsible for conducting site investigations, risk assessments, regulatory negotiations, and remedial design/remedial action and has used various assessment techniques such as infrared thermography, hydrocarbon fingerprinting, CPT/MIP, and NAPL characteristics to identify sources of hydrocarbons, determine extent of contamination, and determine cleanup endpoints. In addition, he worked with and applied regulatory frameworks of the Railroad Commission of Texas, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, and Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
